FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Where Can I Find Out More About BEDZ-UP?
For faster service, BEDZ-UP representatives can be contacted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at info@bedzup.com, or you may call our Toll-Free Number 1-800-593-3430. We will return your call as soon as possible.

How does BEDZ-UP work?
The plastic bladder, in the shape of a wedge, is placed between the mattress and boxspring only. When the wedge is inflated, it raises the mattress to a full height of 10 inches. The usual height recommended by physicians is 6-10 inches. The appropriate height is adjusted by gradual deflation. Elevating the head and the torso of the body thereby takes advantage of gravity to prevent acid reflux into the esophagus.

Why is BEDZ-UP better than a pillow or a foam pad?
Foam pads and pillows often only elevate the head, not the entire torso. Pillows, foam pads, and bricks/blocks under the bed are not easily adjustable and certainly not easily portable.

What about my allergies?
BEDZ-UP never comes in contact with your body, thereby eliminating the chance of allergic reactions. BEDZ-UP is made of polyvinyl chloride and anyone allergic to PVC should be aware of this fact.

What do I get when I buy BEDZ-UP?
You receive a high quality plastic bladder wedge, a small air pump for inflation, and a hose for proper connections.

Can I leave the bladder inflated at all times?
Yes, or you may want to deflate daily.

How easy is it to travel with BEDZ-UP?
BEDZ-UP is very portable. The wedge and pump together weigh less than 4 pounds and fold up into an approximate size of 1'x1'x4" for packing in the suitcase or airline carry-on.

Can I use the air pump in other foreign countries ?
Probably not. The pump operates on 120v alternating current. A power converter may be necessary; however, it is suggested that the inflatable wedge alone be purchased when ordering from outside the U.S., and you may want to use a manual inflation device or your own electrical inflating device. DO NOT over inflate.
